salmon steaks with soy maple glaze

my variation:

3 6-8 oz salmon steaks

3 tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce

3 tbsp maple syrup

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 3 inch piece of ginger, minced

2 garlic cloves, minced

Remove skin from salmon steak, if desired.  Place salmon in an ovenproof dish. Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, maple syrup, garlic and ginger in a small bowl, then pour over salmon. Marinate 2 hours, turning fish after 1 hour.

Bake at 400 degrees F for approximately 20 minutes and/or just until fish flakes, spooning sauce over fish occasionally.

Nice with rice & string beans.

    Thanks for the link for the gratin- will give that a try next week.

    Bought a lentil, bacon,raisin & blue cheese salad today from a new upscale food shop- rich but tasty. Might have to try to replicate.
