spicy grilled shrimp , using a few shakes of dried basil (my fresh basil that was beautiful yesterday looked terrible today), and decreasing olive oil to roughly 1/4 cup. Used Cajun Sunshine hot pepper sauce. Will make this recipe again, using fresh basil next time.
grilled vegetable salad with lemon mustard vinaigrette, increasing corn to 3 cobs, omitting radicchio, asparagus and basil. Reduced amount of olive oil, to about 1/3 cup. Saved some dressing for another use. Roasted vegetables in the oven rather than grilling them, to have salad ready to go.
Friends brought samosas, bruschetta, Portuguese rolls, a garden salad and Leamington strawberries with pizzelle, whipped cream, and drizzled with cointreau or amaretto.
