a recipe for Ravi’s curried lentil apricot soup

ravi’s curried lentil apricot soup I made a half recipe, omitting the salt & pepper, using Penzey’s Maharajah curry powder, and a tomato on the vine rather than a plum tomato. Stirred in 1/4 cup chopped cilantro before serving. A keeper.

jambalaya season

Made a completely inauthentic jambalaya last night. Started with the Trinity & olive oil, added garlic, skinless chicken thighs, thyme, oregano, cayenne, sweet paprika, Cajun Sunshine, Victoria Gourmet New Orleans blend, canned tomatoes, rice.
